With more than 25 years of experience designing and building high-performance road bikes, the folks at Devinci have racked up a lot of technological firsts. The latest, Dual Core Fusion (DCF) technology, makes its debut in the Devinci Leo SL race-ready frame. DCF precisely mates two separate frame cores to yield the optimal efficiency. The upper core provides lightweight vertical compliance and lateral stiffness, while the lower core provides massive torsional stiffness and precise handling. The frame features internal cable routing, a tapered head tube and BB86 pressfit bottom bracket for enhanced stiffness, S-bend seatstays for comfort, and Devinci's top-end Super Leggera full carbon fork for precision handling. With the stiffness and lightning-quick response road racers demand, and comfort Gran Fondo aficionados and recreational riders will appreciate, the Leo SL is the closest thing to the mythical, do-it-all road frame.

The use of unidirectional and multidirectional carbon fiber in the Ultra-Hollow™ structure gives the Campagnolo Chorus 11 crankset rigidity and lightness. Campagnolo's EXtreme Performance Shifting System (XPSS) was specially developed to improve shift timing, and features a redesigned tooth profile to optimize their 11-speed operation. Thanks to the new chainring design, there are now eight sectors specialized for upshifting, and two diametrically opposed sectors for downshifting. This makes instantaneous and precise shifting possible both up and down.

The Campagnolo Chorus 11 Ultra-Shift™ Ergopower™ shifters have been reworked to permit a better grip for the rider's hand and exact shifting precision. The updated material of the grip body is a reinforced Polyamide that has double the impact resistance of its predecessor. The right-hand lever allows you to shift the chain up to three speeds upwards and up to five downwards. The advantage is excellent shifting speed in every situation. Operating fluidity has also been improved thanks to a favorable lever ratio, so the force required for actuating the front and rear derailleurs is considerably lower.

The Campagnolo Chorus 11 rear derailleur has a forged aluminum lower body with an enveloping and oversized carbon fiber outer plate on the upper body. The parallelogram shape delivers 150% more torsional rigidity than the old design. Anodized aluminum fixing screw further reduces weight. A "full black" finish on the lower cage matches the carbon of the upper body.

The additional speed led us to devising a new support structure for the last six sprockets in two subsets. The form of the teeth is new and they have been treated to increase duration over time.

Eleven sprockets that are even more efficient despite the reduction of the thicknesses? We have succeeded. The teeth have been designed to optimize the speed and fluidity of shifting. This form reduces stress on the chain which ascends more easily onto the higher diameter sprockets. The large pinions are divided into sets of three and are mounted on a new aluminium frame. Thanks to this, rigidity increases 180% and the individual sprockets are 70% more resistant to torsion.

The new 5.5 millimetre thickness has been combined with new materials and a special anti-friction treatment which permits outstanding fluidity.

We have reduced the width of the chain to 5.5 millimetres with the new spacing and a new material has been envisaged for the outer links. The pins are hollow inside to reduce the weight while maintaining strength. It is necessary to use tool UT-CN300 to fit it. The Ni-PTFE treatment ensures smoothness and long life. The Ultra-Link™ fastening system guarantees strength and operation with the new 11-speed sprockets.
