Santa Cruz Cyclocross Bikes

Bike: Santa Cruz Stigmata Cross Bike

Santa Cruz, making a cross bike? Is this some kind of joke? Hell no! After all, they're based in Santa Cruz, California and that implies a winter's worth of mucky run-ups at the Watsonville fairgrounds or the sand pits at Fort Ord. And what about that sketchy off-camber bit a Soquel High School? Cross is part of the landscape in Santa Cruz, so they built the perfect frame to throw over their shoulders between October and January. Constructed from Easton's EA6X tubing, the Stigmata is a lean (1300g for a 54cm frame), no-compromise, race ready 'cross frame - note the absence of mudguard and rack mounts. The tight geometry is configured with an 11" bottom bracket and has lots of tire clearance. Compatible with cantilever brakes or V-brakes.
Fork: Easton EC90X
