The Air 9 Carbon is built to be incredibly light and fast, with razor sharp handling and a forgiving ride. Structurally, the Air 9 Carbon is a high modulus carbon frame with alloy interfaces in critical head tube and bottom bracket areas.
Frame development began with reams of testing data, which helped Niner determine the primary tube shape. Every decision, every shape and every tube was designed to hit very specific targets for stiffness and strength. Key sections, such as the downtube and bottom bracket area, have received massive structural shaping to increase torsional rigidity. Moreover, the aesthetically pleasing swooping lines and angles of the Air 9 Carbon are functionally beneficial, all helping to disperse energy, avoid stress risers and increase the natural damping characteristics of this frame.
The Air 9 Carbon features Bio-Centric EBB technology and a CYA bottom bracket system - the most flexible BB/gearing system available. Run your Niner singlespeed or geared, or take advantage of several BB inserts to accommodate your choice of bottom bracket technologies, including the new BB-30 standard. Please specify bottom bracket type to ensure compatible insert is received with frame.

The Niner JET 9 RDO carbon is built for speed, and looking for trouble. The unidirectional carbon frame employs bold swooping tubes that were engineered to be strong and take a ton of punishment. 100mm of patented CVA suspension (designed from the ground up for 29-inch wheels) can be paired with either a 100mm fork for XC racing, or 120mm fork to slacken the headtube angle and raise the BB for Enduro/ all mountain riding. Covering a large part of the downtube's bottom is a 3M clear material, the same used to protect the edges of carbon fiber helicopter blades. This frame features next generation internal cable routing for a clean look and post mount disc-brake mounts for weight savings and easy set-up.
