Douglas Racing Package Bikes
The aggressively priced Douglas Fusion raises the 'value bar' by featuring the latest Ultegra SL components and pro-quality construction that will delight budget-minded cyclists and aficionados alike. Thanks to a competition inspired Altair 2 aluminum frame with custom butted tube set, this street machine rides with a near weightless feel and flawless efficiency. The Fusion's custom drawn chain stays channel power to the rear wheel while High Modulus carbon fiber seat stays dissipate ground-generated vibrations for a smooth comfortable ride. All this performance is packaged within a carefully crafted geometry that begs to fly for the city limit sign. Before you buy any road bike this season, make sure you check out the 2008 Douglas Fusion. Once again, it's unbeatable.

Matrix sets a new performance-to-price benchmark with a winning mix of High Modulus (HM) carbon fiber frame technology and precision Shimano Dura-Ace shifting. Our flagship bicycle scores high in all of the key areas - weight, torsional rigidity, handling, shifting and detailing.
HM construction yields a lively and energetic ride with a solid, balanced road-feel. Oversized, multi-shaped tubes and lugs are specifically engineered to enhance lateral rigidity without adding unnecessary weight. The top tube blends seamlessly with the seat stays to decrease the torsional deflection at the top tube and seat tube junction, while increasing the lateral strength and enhancing the vibration damping qualities. The integrated full carbon fork features an aero-tapered fork blade to isolate unpleasant road vibrations and deliver front-end stability, nimble handling and a smooth, solid ride.
Frame construction begins with an inner carbon skeleton that serves as a base onto which the large diameter down tube, doublewide bottom bracket, seat tube and seat stays are joined. Next, the frame is hand aligned and wrapped in layers of HM carbon fiber, culminating with a handsome surface of 12K carbon weave. After final molding, each frame is inspected and individually fatigue tested to simulate the dynamic loads of real world cycling. And, when you put this much effort into building a great frame, you don't want to skimp on the components. Check out the specs below!
