The Devinci Troy Carbon RC bike is Devinci's first 650b/27.5 Trail bike to feature Dave Weagle's proven Split Pivot technology, and with the addition of short chainstays this frame provides for optimal control over a burly mix of DH and XC terrain. The patented Dave Weagle suspension design centers on the wheel axle to allow maximum suspension efficiency and traction without interference from pedal and brake forces. The front triangle is molded as a single monocoque piece, meaning that there is no tube bonding required during the manufacturing process. The Troy also employs a carbon fiber seat stay assembly and an aluminum rocker link, complete with angle adjusting chips that can be flipped to tweak the head angle by half of a degree (67.6 to 68.1) and the bottom bracket by six millimeters (333 to 339mm). The frame weighs in at 6.07lb with a FOX Float CTD shock that offers 140mm of travel. The tapered head tube up front combined with the 12x142mm thru axle on the rear provides the necessary stiffness for rough trail riding. The 27.5 wheel size adds to this smooth-ride formula, making for an unstoppable off-road weapon combining the best elements of the big-wheel movement.

The Surly Krampus is the next evolution in 29er hardtails. Labeled as "29+" due to being able to handle 3" tires, the Krampus is designed with a long top tube and a short rear end, resulting in superior rolling inertia and grip that cannot be found with a standard "fat bike". The frame and fork are made from custom butted 4130 CroMoly steel that is tough as nails and will handle any trail abuse you throw its way. The rear-loading horizontal dropouts will accommodate geared or singlespeed drivetrains and the big tires offer a bit of suspension-like cushion. The Surly Krampus might not be a featherweight speed-beast, but it's the most entertaining, fun and confidence-inspiring ride you will ever experience on a 29er.
