The additional speed led us to devising a new support structure for the last six sprockets in two subsets. The form of the teeth is new and they have been treated to increase duration over time.
Eleven sprockets that are even more efficient despite the reduction of the thicknesses? We have succeeded. The teeth have been designed to optimize the speed and fluidity of shifting. This form reduces stress on the chain which ascends more easily onto the higher diameter sprockets. The large pinions are divided into sets of three and are mounted on a new aluminium frame. Thanks to this, rigidity increases 180% and the individual sprockets are 70% more resistant to torsion.

The Super Record™ sprocket set exploits a new frame for the two supersize titanium sprocket triplets. The strength and resistance to torsion have been increased as a result. The design of the teeth strains the chain less.

Shifting has been even further improved by creating an even more rigid (and lighter) aluminum carrier unit along with re-engineered teeth profile. Cassette design is lighter as Shimano has developed a super lightweight and rigid aluminum cassette sprocket carrier. The largest four cogs are titanium and weight is reduced by 10 grams.
- Gear combinations: a wide selection for all needs
- Titanium sprockets: the 4 biggest sprockets are titanium to save weight
Gear Ranges: 11-23, 11-25, 11-28, 12-23 and 12-25.
Weight: 225 g. (11x25)
Shimano's Ultegra CS-6700 10-speed cassette uses Hyperglide sprockets with revised tooth profiles for reduced wear and lightning quick shifts. A more rigid aluminum carrier keeps the cogs in check for improved shifting under the most demanding gear changes. The available ratio combinations work extremely well with standard, compact or triple crankset.
Gear Ranges: 12-21, 12-23, 12-25 or 12-27

Shimano Dura-Ace 7800 10-speed cassettes feature a superior surface treatment that has been applied to the titanium sprockets to increase durability by approximately 30%. The sprocket width has been slightly reduced to achieve chain compatibility and only increases the overall weight of the cassette sprocket by 17 grams compared to the 9-speed CS-7700 sprocket. The CS-7800 sprocket is also compatible with the 9-speed freehub because it is designed to have nearly the same width. Size selection may be limited. Pricing May varry due to availability.

The Record UD 10 speed cassettes use the race proven Ultra-Drive system. Tested under all weather and race conditions at the Tour De France, the Record Ultra Drive system worked to perfection. The Ultra-Drive system makes shifting more precise and fluid, especially thanks to the careful machining and treatments that the sprocket teeth have undergone. The special sprockets pattern interfaces perfectly with the rest of the drivetrain components, especially the chain and chainrings, thus bringing performance to levels of outstanding excellence.
Please Note: The cassette lock-ring is included ONLY on 11 tooth cassettes.

The Record UD 10 speed titanium cassettes use the race proven Ultra-Drive system. Racers and enthusiasts are always looking to reduce weight without sacrificing performance. One way we've done this is replacing our steel-and-titanium sprocket set with an all-titanium one, now manufactured in the Ultra·Drive profile. Its tooth profile contributes to Records precise and smooth gear changing.

The OG-1090 Cassette, simplicity means elegance, efficiency, and performance. The main cog set is machined out of a single forged form that is heat treated and then shaped in a complex series of CNC-guided operations. One-piece PowerDome™ construction offers improved stiffness versus traditional designs and better power transfer to the wheel-it's also 15% stronger than its nearest competitor. The sprockets themselves (including two free cogs) utilize SRAM's proprietary OpenGlide™ design for smooth-as-silk up- and downshifts.
