Heart Rate Monitors
Sophisticated, user-friendly intelligence makes this evolved GPS-enabled training tool simply genius. Touch, tap or scroll to select features on the fly and the innovative ANT+ technology automatically sends the data to your computer - no downloads, no wires, no sweat! And if that isn't cool enough, share workout information and compete against other users over recorded courses. Track your time, speed and calories burned, design and categorize your workouts based on activity, mark and find locations, or navigate back to your starting point. Originally developed for running, you can easily track the speed and distance of your cycling workouts by adding the Garmin GSC-10 speed/cadence bike sensor (sold separately).
Polar’s new cycling specific computer/heart rate monitor units provide the important physiological and cycling data cyclists require to achieve their goals. Absolute (bpm) and relative heart rate (% max HR) assist in attaining desired intensity. Wireless speed sensor provides current, average and maximum speeds. The OwnCal feature displays calories burned during your ride. Own Zone automatically detects your optimal heart target zone based on your daily condition. OwnCode prevents interference from other heart rate monitors. Other features include estimated time of arrival, automatic display scroll, backlight, two bike settings and a memory file that automatically stores cycling data from the latest workout.
Polar’s website (www.PolarCyclingCoach.com) offers an online training program with the option to upload personal settings via Polar UpLink. Optional wireless cadence sensor available.
