The Polar Power Kit is an option that is available on the new S-720 or S-725 unit. This system will redefine the way a cyclist approaches training by combining heart rate and power (wattage) data together. The systems work by measuring two key factors: Chain tension and Chain speed by 2 seperate sensors. POWER= chain tension x chain speed. All the drive force is transmitted through the chain, allowing the S710 to calculate watts very accurately. Accuracy of the system is +/- 5%. Total weight of unit: 225 gms. Does not include required S-720 or S-725 Heart Rate Monitor.
