Bicycle Trainers
Please visit Tacx.com for more information on the Tacx Bushido Trainer.
The Bushido is Tacx's most advanced ergotrainer, allowing demanding riders to train at a high level and with scientific precision. The Bushido is completely wireless, meaning there are no messy wires that run from the roller unit to the head unit, and you don't have to plug it in. This wireless ergotrainer has a powerful brake system which offers a maximum resistance of 1400 Watt. The system consists of a motor brake and a 2 kg computer-driven flywheel, offering a supple pedal stroke, even on simulated steep climbs.
The brake features a series of LED lights. The red lights light up when the power output is high; when the power output is low, the green lights are more visible. The lights move on the rhythm of your cadence. The balance indicator on the display helps you to find the balance in power during cycling, in order to reach a steady and efficient pedal stroke.
Bushido's sophisticated display unit provides all the necessary training information, such as power output, heart rate, cadence, speed and time. User-friendly menus allow you to start immediately, with 99 Catalyst training programs measuring power output, heart rate and slope (-5 to +20%).
CycleOps JetFluid Pro is the latest in fluid technology, featuring a PowerTuned resistance unit that provides smooth, realistic accelerations and inertia. Its power curve has been tuned to meet the strength-to-weight ratios of serious riders. The Pro Series frame offers quick installation and removal of your bike, with the ability to lock the resistance unit in place for transport and storage. A stiffer yolk design improves stability while cooler operating temperature delivers long-lasting performance and stable progressive power. Includes a rear skewer and a great training DVD, 'Real Rides Race Day', directed by leading coach and former USPS team member, Robbie Ventura. Accepts road or mountain wheel. (Shipping $31.25)
