Zipp's new 202 clincher is a stiff, lightweight and aerodynamic speed weapon ideal for every road you travel. The 202 Firecrest 32mm rim is shaped more like a "U", as opposed to a conventional V-shape, allowing air to spill over the rim in cross winds, thus helping the wheel maintain course. You'll feel like you can ride 'within' the wind instead of against it. In addition to the aerodynamic benefits, the wider inner diameter creates a 'leaf spring' effect on rough terrain and absorbs vibrations better than any other deep section rim. At the same time, the 25.4mm-wide brake track allows the clincher tire to take on a wider, more stable shape without compromising rolling resistance. All Zipp full-carbon clinchers feature an exclusive heat-resistant resin as part of the composite structure, preventing temperature spikes in rim and tire pressure that can cause flats. The 202 is the lightest entry in the Firecrest Carbon Clincher lineup (1375g. wheelset) so you can float up the climbs. The Zipp 188 rear hub uses 10 Swiss steel bearings that roll more smoothly than many ceramic bearings. 24 spokes, radial drive side/cross non-drive. Includes skewer, valve extender and brake pads.

Zipp's innovative approach to aerodynamics allows the Firecrest to handle crosswinds with stability you'd normally find in rims half as deep.
