The weapon of choice for the 2009 Bouygues Telecom pro team, the Time RXR Ulteam is the stiffest, most efficient Time race bike to date. Thanks to high tech design tools and computer modeling, this premier frameset boasts the highest standard of Time technology. Each tube has been optimized for the benefit of performance and aerodynamics, providing the RXR Ulteam one of the most favorable SCX ratings (measurement of aerodynamic abilities) in the industry. Vectran enhanced tubes, designed to resist the stresses of super high performance competition, smooth out the ride and help resist fatigue. One-piece monobloc carbon fork, with multi-diameter steerer, guarantees lightweight strength with exceptional steering precision and stability. Other details include full carbon bottom bracket shell, asymmetrical carbon chainstays and a removable, aluminum front derailleur mount. The frame package includes a Monolink RXR Ulteam carbon handlebar stem, carbon seatpost and matching carbon bottle cage. Time's Carbon Matrix Technology (carbon fiber components compressed at high pressure) is used to produce the fork dropouts, seatpost head, seatpost cradle and handlebar stem insert.
