The new Scott Addict frame became the lightest production road frame in the world at only 790g. With advanced technologies like IMP™, SCDS, and HMX composite fiber, the Addict sets the new standard for high-end competitive cycling. By developing further upon Scott's successful CR1 process, they have created a state of the art Integrated Molding Process (IMP™) and mated with Scott's Naked External Tubeset (NET) which removes the cosmetic layer of carbon and shaves precious grams out of the entire frame. The Addict also features carbon dropouts, alloy replaceable hanger, and a carbon front derailleur mount. When combined with Scott's new, slimmer carbon IMP™ fork that weights 330 grams, the Addict weights in at 5.9kg (size 54cm). These qualities are extremely important to the Saunier Duval Prodir Team riders who were very successful at the Giro d' Italia and the Tour de France.
