Bike: Argon 18 Gallium Pro-Ultegra 6700 Custom wheels

Optimal balance is Argon 18's design and fabrication philosophy and the pinnacle of that philosophy is achieved with the Gallium Pro, official bike of pro team Team SpiderTech. Balance is achieved with their Horizontal Dual System (HDS) concept. The downtube, bottom bracket and chainstays are built with maximum rigidity for complete power transfer, while the tube shapes of the toptube and seatstays emphasize vibration dampening. The result is higher comfort and less fatigue on long rides without sacrificing race-bike handling.

Another innovation of Argon 18 frames is the 3D System which lets the rider choose from three effective head tube lengths, permitting a wide range of handlebar heights without compromising front end stiffness. The Gallium Pro achieves its mix of stiffness, comfort and lightweight through the use of 7000 HM Carbon Nano-Tech tubes resulting in instant power transfer and steering response. The monocoque carbon fork is designed for maximum lateral rigidity with an oversize steerer tube, and the reversible carbon seat post allows adjustability for 25mm or 30mm of setback.
