Raced to dual national championships, the Mares is a true force on the cyclecross circuit and is the official bike of the Rapha-Focus Cyclocross Team. The Focus Mares CX 1.0, with its sharp handling and aggressive geometry, will feel like it's taking you for a ride. The race-ready geometry falls somewhere between short track XC and time trial. The slack head angle soaks up bumps over rough terrain while the short head tube and low bottom bracket deliver sharp handling and carve around corners. A slightly steeper seat tube positions you over the pedals for maximum power output. Say goodbye to fork flex, the Focus "Bulldog" fork provides optimum handling and features a crown mounted brake cable boss, which eliminates stretch on the brake cable and reduces brake chatter.
