Big wheels and loooooong travel. When it comes to an all mountain bike, you want something that climbs easy and rolls over anything. The Santa Cruz Tallboy LT 29" carbon frame combines the rolling efficiency of 29 inch wheels with 135mm of VPP travel, all in a feather light frame, weighing in at 5.35 lbs with shock. Santa Cuz put a lot of emphasis on the suspension performance and ride characteristics of their VPP suspension- design with tuneability of shock rates for individual designs, superb pedaling and bump absorption characteristics. The handling of these big wheels has been beefed up with a tapered head tube up front and 142x12mm rear axle. The Tallboy LT frame comes with all of the geeked out details that you need to customize your rig, including ISCG05 mount and cable routing for a dropper post.
Frame: Carbon fiber chassis with massive chainstays and rear triangle, tapered head tube, carbon fiber upper link, 15mm aluminum pivot axles (2 lower-1 upper) rotating on angular contact bearings, titanium hardware, grease ports, replaceable dropouts and 135mm of Next Generation VPP suspension.
