The svelte Superlight D Bike is a cross-country dream machine. Santa Cruz's redesigned Superlight frameset includes a new rear triangle, ditching the CNC-machined aluminum swingarm in favor of a completely welded tubular construction. Also new is a unique, two-bolt design replaceable rear derailleur. The single pivot has been moved directly in line with the down tube and has more than doubled in size from 9mm to 20mm. With Fox RP23 rear shock, the new Superlight is a whopping three times more rigid than previous models and weighs just over 5lbs.
Frame: Custom butted 6069 aluminum tube set with single pivot linkage. Sealed cartridge bearings and replaceable dropouts. 100mm travel (4.0 inches) rear travel.
Shock: Fox RP23.

Recommended Fork Travel: 100 to 125mm.
