By carefully paring down excess material, shortening the chain stays by a half inch and using a smaller diameter down tube and shorter head tube, Santa Cruz refashioned the ever-popular Blur frame into the new, feathery, five-pound Blur XC. Tighter, snappier and lighter, the new generation Blur still sports a plush, 4.5 inches of rear wheel travel. If you’re looking for big air, look some place else. But, if your upward glance is trained on that elusive top step of the race podium, this cross-country racer was built for you.
Frame: Custom Butted 6069 aluminum tubeset with VPP linkage. Sealed cartridge bearings and replaceable dropouts. 115mm travel. (4.5 inches) rear travel.
Shock: Fox RP23.

Use up to 105mm travel fork.
Sizes: XS-L.
Recommended Fork Travel: 80 to 100mm.
