The new XO Trail brake was designed for cross country to downhill and everything in between. With a powerful 4-piston dual-diameter caliper and innovative lever pivot bearing, it packs more power than any other brake in its class. An updated TaperBore design incorporates a new air-trap feature, which prevents potentially trapped air from entering the system, resulting in ridiculously smooth control you can count on. Super light carbon fiber lever blade with forged aluminum body, new HS1 rotors, aluminum hardware, pad contact and reach adjustments. Front and rear sold separately.
Hint for breaking-in: New disc brake pads require a certain break-in period in order to provide the full brake power. The following procedure has proved oneself: drag braking on a downhill until the brake power noticeably increases. Then let the brake rotor cool out. Afterwards do 20 full stops braking from a medium speed. Attention: the rotors get very hot, do not touch them!
