The EPS (Electronic Power Shift) system allows for nearly flawless shifting. According to Campagnolo the EPS can seamlessly up shift and down shift all 11 gears on the cassette while the mechanical shifting only allowed for 5 down-shifting and 3 up-shifting. With electronic shifting the maintenance on the bicycle is reduced. And the biggest question may be, what happens if it gets wet? The EPS system is made with water proof electronics and Campagnolo claims the bicycle will still function even under 1 meter of water. How much is a nearly perfect shifting experience worth to you?
