The Colnago C64 is completely handmade, "tailor made" it could be said, in Italy with revolutionary tubes (larger, lighter, and more durable), and the C64 is the fruit of more than two years of research. Yet, it was designed based on an almost immeasurable history of cycling innovation and success, one which began in 1954. The C64's tubes and lugs are made of the finest carbon fiber, making it a unique frame in the world, one that cannot be compared to anything else. In the C64's design lies Ernesto Colnago's knowledge and experience, gained from a lifelong pursuit of cycling perfection. The C64's fork has been fully redesigned, with an external rib-shape to give the rider more comfort but also to increase the ride-quality. The integrated headset features elastomers to absorb road vibrations, improving both handling and rider comfort. The seat tube meets the seat tube lug to form a single piece, increasing the stiffness of the frame and features a hidden integrated seat tube clamp for the custom shaped seatpost. Cable-routing is internal and central, through the top of the downtube, and both brakes are direct-mount. The C64 also has clearance for up to 28c tires. Finally, the construction technique used in the C64 offers an unprecedented range of sizes, nine sloping and five horizontal, with custom sizing also an option.
