The Kestrel RT-1100 is the ideal choice for enthusiast or endurance road riders who like to stretch out their mileage on the weekends, ride Gran Fondos, may have back problems, or who simply want a top-of-the-line machine but without the race geometry. A close cousin to the Legend but with more relaxed geometry, the RT-1100 boasts Kestrel's aerodynamic DNA and is plenty fast, yet offers greater comfort over longer distances. Kestrel knows carbon, as the first manufacturer of an all-carbon frame, and they've put decades of experience into making the RT1100 one of the smoothest riding bikes on the market. The RT1100 was built with an endurance geometry that employs a longer head tube compared to some full-race machines, keeping you in a comfortable position you can maintain as the miles add up. Shimano takes care of the drivetrain for lightning quick shifts, while a compact crank lets you continue to spin when the tarmac turns vertical. Aerodynamic shaped stays, seat post, and seat tube, plus internal cable routing, let the wind slip over the bike. A set of aerodynamic Oval Concepts wheels, wrapped in Vittoria tires, completes this bike, making it fit to fly.
