Returns or Exchanges by Mail in Two Simple Steps

The Colorado Cyclist accepts the return of all unused merchandise in its original manufacturer's packaging up to 30 days from the date of purchase. For your safety, all food and drink items are not returnable. All items must be new and unused condition with the original manufacturer's packaging and tags still attached. Items that have been washed or installed are not considered new and unused.

Please note, there is a restocking fee for any custom wheel and bicycle returns. Also, because of our aggressive pricing on groups, individual items within the group cannot be returned.

Please take care when packaging your return, it is the customers responsibility to pay costs associated with the repair of items damaged in shipping due to improper packaging.

1. Complete a Return and Exchange Form:

Use the return or exchange form on the back of your invoice or click hereto download a return and exchange form.

2. (a) Print a UPS Prepaid Return Label or (b) Ship Via the Carrier of Your Choice

Option (a):

  • Click Here to Fill Out & Print UPS Prepaid Label (Continental 48 Only)
  • Click here to find an authorized UPS shipping location
  • $7.00 will be deducted from your refund on item(s) returned in boxes less than or equal to 12”x12”x12” or 1728 cubic inches
  • Returned item(s) shipped in boxes larger than 12”x12”x12” or 1728 cubic inches will reduce your refund amount between $10-$65 depending on the size of the box used for the return
  • Please note: We do not recommend returning high value items using the prepaid label as UPS will not insure the shipment. Returned items damaged during shipping are the sole responsibility of the shipper, and any cost associated with the damage will be deducted from the refund. The best way to return high value items is to ship via the carrier of your choice & insure the package before shipment.  Please call us at 800-688-8600 or email us at pfinley@coloradocyclist.com for information or questions on returning any high value item(s).

Option (b):

  • Bring your return to any UPS, FedEx, USPS or any other reputable carrier
  • Please address the return to:
  • Colorado Cyclist Returns

    Colorado Springs, CO 80909

  • If the item is of high value, please insure the shipment
  • Please note: Items damaged during the return process are the sole responsibility of the shipper, and any cost associated with the damage will be deducted from the refund. If the item is insured, a claim can be made with the carrier, and you will have recourse to recoup any cost associated with the damage.

Also, please note, all refused packages will be charged as if you are returning an order using a prepaid label.

Warranties

Colorado Cyclist stands behind all manufacturer’s warranties. Generally, warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship. Damage from abuse, neglect, accidents, and racing are not covered under any warranty. It is at the sole discretion of the manufacturer to repair or replace defective merchandise.

The manufacturer will determine if the item is warrantable and will determine repair, replacement or (on the rare occasion it cannot be repaired or replaced) credit. If a repair/replacement is not possible we reserve the right to offer an alternative of equal or greater value (with variances in color) or a partial refund proportional to the remaining life of the product.

Take photos and email them to warranties@coloradocyclist.com along with your order number, customer number, contact information, and product defect description. We will contact you with further instructions within the next business day. When sending warrantable items back, please include the original receipt.

Also note, labor and shipping are not covered by any warranty. You are responsible for all shipping costs (and all labor costs) associated with warranty evaluation and warranty repair/replacement. This will include shipping to and from us.

The warranty evaluation and repair/replacement process takes time. We appreciate your patience with us during this process.
