Shimano's RS31 wheelset offers a mid-aero design with high performance.
A 30 mm high profile aluminium rim with improved aero dynamics and Shimano's excellent quality results in a superb wheelset at an extremely competitive price.
Shimano has used stainless steel, butted and bladed, straight pull spokes, instead of the typical J-bend, for a stronger and more compliant wheel.
The hub uses angular contact bearings designed to cradle the balls giving both radial and lateral support for superior strength and durability in real world riding conditions. They also offer precision bearing adjustment and easy maintenance and make them winter proof with labyrinth and contact sealing, low-friction seals which effectively shut out water, mud and dirt without affecting rotational smoothness.
Designed for 11 speed cassettes but also includes a spacer to run a 10 speed flavor.
