The SRAM Force 22 Hydraulic Road Disc Brake features a two-piston design that provides optimized stopping power and modulation for road or cyclocross use. The forged aluminum disc caliper with stainless steel backed pads and stainless hardware deliver robust durability while keeping a competitive weight. A fully sealed system provides contamination-free reliability in all weather conditions, offering better stopping power in wet conditions. Force 22 Hydraulic Road Disc Brake includes levers, hoses, oil and caliper. Compatible with 140 or 160 Centerline rotors. Rotors sold separately. Fits Flat Mount Frames and Forks.

Hint for breaking-in: New disc brake pads require a certain break-in period in order to provide the full brake power. The following procedure has proved oneself: drag braking on a downhill until the brake power noticeably increases. Then let the brake rotor cool out. Afterwards do 20 full stops braking from a medium speed. Attention: the rotors get very hot, do not touch them!
