The newest incarnation of the Niner JET 9 RDO Carbon is Niner's flagship cross country full suspension frame, and with 100mm of travel, this is the full suspension bike most likely to be found on XC courses, in epic endurance races and on the podium. The new RDO carbon layup reduces weight and employs bold swooping tubes that were engineered to be strong and take a ton of punishment. 100mm of patented CVA suspension (designed from the ground up for 29-inch wheels) can be paired with either a 100mm fork for XC racing, or 120mm fork to slacken the headtube angle and raise the BB for Enduro/ all mountain riding. Covering a large part of the downtube's bottom is a 3M clear material, the same used to protect the edges of carbon fiber helicopter blades. This frame features next generation internal cable routing for a clean look and post mount disc-brake mounts for weight savings and easy set-up. The handling of this big wheeled racer has been beefed up with a tapered head tube up front and 142x12mm rear axle. 5 year warranty. Cane Creek Headset is included.

The XX1 chain has 4 times the elongation (wear) resistance to our 10-speed chains. This is due to the new finishing process on the inner links and rollers. Bearings are housed in nylon cups which will be pressed into the frames bottom bracket shell. This bottom bracket is designed for 30mm spindle cranksets. Frames will need a 46mm inner-diameter bottom bracket shell to accommodate this system. PressFit 30 for road will require a 68mm wide shell while PressFit 30 for MTB will require a 73mm wide shell.
