The Niner RIP 9 RDO will re-awaken your passion for all-mountain riding. Niner took the ride quality and handling characteristics of the ground breaking RIP 9 and improved it on all levels with carbon frame, linkages, ISCG compatibility and additional travel. The unidirectional carbon frame employs bold swooping tubes that were engineered to be strong and take a ton of punishment. 125mm of fully active patented CVA suspension (designed from the ground up for 29-inch wheels) can be paired with either a 120 or 140mm fork to further fine tune the ride. The carbon links rotate on oversized Angular Contact Bearings for awesome lateral rigidity and immediate power transfer, and the integrated replaceable skid plate protects the bottom linkage so you can ride with confidence. The dropper post routing and ISCG 05 chainguide compatibility means you can build this frame to fit your riding style. The RIP 9 RDO features more tire clearance, full housing internal cable routing for a clean look and precision-machined alloy interfaces for the bottom bracket, direct-mount front derailleur and brake caliper post mounts. Handling has been improved with a tapered head tube up front and 142x12mm rear axle. Headset is included.

The Sram XX 2x10 Direct Mount Spec 3 39T is specifically optimized for 26x39 gear ratios and frames with unique S3 direct mounting. The Sram XX front derailleur has been shaped to access the full range of the cassette with no chain rub. The cage is narrow in the front, to make sure you don't drop your chain, and wider in the back, to prevent chain rub. The cage is also shorter, so it uses less material, making it lighter. The addition of a high-tension spring makes shifting incredibly crisp, and it doesn't get sloppy when loaded with mud. Unparalleled stiffness is delivered by an increased Bolt Circle Diameter (BCD) and a two-piece, insert-molded carbon composite construction. The crank geometry provides a narrow 166mm Q factor, an efficient chainline, and beveled crank arms to maximize clearance.

Patented X-Glide chainring technology delivers accurate, lightning-fast shifts. The development concept for X-Glide was simple: create a geometry that allows each chainring to be divided into equal segments, much like a pie. Then, perfect the up-and downshift timing for one segment, and repeat that for each of them. With X-Glide, all four up-shift locations are identical and can be picked up by any outer link. The result? Up and downshift locations have perfect timing, providing an almost instant shift - even under load!

The GXP system positions the left side bearing between the spindle and the left crankarm, while allowing the drive-side bearing to float axially on the spindle, thereby eliminating the necessity to side-load bearings during adjustment. GXP's design allows greater variation in BB shell alignment, maintaining precision and performance regardless of thread and construction irregularities in the frame.
