Striking a balance between aerodynamic speed and a robust construction, the Belgium G is designed to be light weight yet provide features seen on much beefier rims. Moving outwards from the 25mm internal rim width, HEDs fat lip design gives the 6061 aluminum rims an overall width of 30mm for a wide, sturdy platform. The Fat Lip reconstructed rim bead offers a stronger rim for lower tire pressure, more comfort and better cornering performance. The Hed Belgium-G disc rim features a welded rim joint, disc-only braking, and is made with aluminum alloy that is shot-peened to increase strength.
