Designed with great traction in mind, the Maxxis Ardent is equally at home on an XC racer or all mountain trail bike. Large block-style side Dual Compound knobs hook up and hold tight on high-speed corners. The center tread, while designed for braking and accelerating traction, also features ramped knobs to minimize rolling resistance. EXO TR offers better sidewall puncture resistance, improved air retention, better longevity and lower weight than previous tubeless technologies.
