Shimano XT PD-M8000 XC Pedals

Thanks to standard Shimano procedure, improvements made on 9000-series XTR pedals are inherited by the Shimano XT M8000 Pedals! The 8000 XT pedals have a solid, increased-surface area platform to stand upon, enabling them to better transfer your effort to the rear wheel. Other design enhancements include a low profile design which increases ground clearance and offset bindings to improve mud shedding capabilities - the previous generation's achilles heel.

The Shimano PD-M8000 XT XC pedals use a stainless steel axle, bolts, retention springs, and bindings. The body is made from aluminum. The release tension is adjustable and the pedals offer 5 degrees of float.

The M8000 features a platform that's 2.8mm wider and with 7.7% more contact area than the M780s. Additionally, the M8000 lowers the platform height 0.5mm to place your shoes closer to the spindle. Of course you'll still enjoy consistent, precise engagement and release in even the muddiest of conditions.
